#PAWPatrolFirsttoRide Competition T&Cs

The First to Ride competition will pick 25 winners to visit Chessington World of Adventures Resort in Spring 2026 to attend the PAW Patrol First To Ride VIP event. Each winner will receive a VIP family invitation for up to 5 people to attend the First To Ride event, followed by entry to Chessington World of Adventures for the rest of the day.  

Details for the First to Ride event will be confirmed and communicated with winners closer to the time, the prize will only be valid on the day that is communicated to winners at the First to Ride VIP event. The date and time of the First to Ride VIP event will be confirmed and published at the earliest opportunity. Once the event date is confirmed, the final qualifying stay date and the last opportunity to enter the competition will also be announced. Prizes do not include travel to and from Chessington World of Adventures Resort. All other expenses are the responsibility of the winner and guests. Prizes are non-transferrable, not for resale and there is no cash alternative. Winners and their family members must be able to adhere to all ride safety regulations stated below.

  2. The Prize: Win 1 of 25 family tickets for up to 5 people for the PAW Patrol First to Ride VIP event in spring 2026, the prize includes:
    • Entry to the First To Ride VIP event taking place in Spring 2026. The date and time of the First to Ride VIP event will be confirmed and published at the earliest opportunity.
    • Access to the brand-new paw patrol themed land including one ride on the 4 new PAW Patrol themed rides
    • Digital Ride Photo on the new PAW Patrol themed rollercoaster
    • Entry to Chessington World of Adventures for the rest of the day
    • Ultimate Reserve and Ride for the rest of the day
    • x 1 winner’s goodie bag per winner
  3. The First To Ride VIP event will take place in Spring 2026, the exact date and time of the First to Ride VIP event will be confirmed and published at the earliest opportunity. There is only one date available for this event, if the winner is unable to attend the confirmed date, they will forfeit their prize, and another name will be drawn at random by an independent adjudicator.
  4. How to Participate: Stay in a PAW Patrol themed hotel room at the Chessington Safari Hotel ahead of the new PAW Patrol themed land opening in Spring 2026 to enter the prize draw. During your short break in the PAW Patrol themed hotel room, if guests would like to be in with a chance to win, they will be required to take a photo with the PAW Patrol First to Ride photo frame and post it on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #PAWPatrolFirsttoRide and tag Chessington World of Adventures Resort Facebook or Instagram accounts. Guests may also to complete the competition entry form available in the PAW Patrol themed hotel room, providing their their email address and submitting the completed form to the Chessington Hotel Reception to enter the draw.
  5. Maximum of one prize per household and each winner can bring up to 4 people. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (16+).
  6. The prize can only be used as stipulated, is not transferable to another individual and cannot be exchanged for cash or used in any other way. Sale of the prize for profit is prohibited. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or ticket. The prize must be taken as a complete package. Any breach of this term will result in disqualification and the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the prize. 
  7. This prize does not include travel to or from to Chessington World of Adventures. Travel to and from the event is the responsibility of the winner.
  8. This prize does not include overnight accommodation at Chessington World of Adventures. If overnight accommodation is required this is the responsibility of the winner.
  9. Eligibility: Entry is open to residents of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) and ROI aged 18+. In entering the competition, the participant confirms that he/she is eligible to do so and eligible to claim any Prize he/she may win. The Promoter may require the entrant to provide proof that he/she is eligible to enter the competition and claim any Prize he/she may win.
  10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for
    • Entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries which are not completed for any reason;
    • Unauthorized human intervention or human error which may occur in any part of the entry process or the process for allocating the prize(s);
    • Technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Competition or the processing of entries;
    • Any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participant's participation in the Competition or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.
  11. Winners selection and notification: The winners will be drawn at random within 7 working days of the competition close and winners will be notified within 5 days thereafter via the preferred contact route they have selected on the competition entry form. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, then the slot is void and a new winner will be drawn.
  12. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  13. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  14. By accepting the prize, the winners agree to photography and videography to be taken on the day which may be used in promotional material.
  15. The prize is subject to Chessington World of Adventures Resort normal terms and conditions of entry found on the official website https://www.chessington.com/legal/terms-conditions/
  16. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  17. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  18. If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, town or county of residence to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes. For example it may only publish personal details in generic form e.g. John from London.   
  19. The prize is subject to the land and the rides being open and in full operation on the confirmed First to Ride VIP event day.  The Promoter reserves the right to move the event date due to unforeseen circumstances. All winners will be notified before the date of the event.
  20. Winners and guests must comply with the rides’ safety regulations, including but not limited to minimum height restrictions, accessibility requirements, and any additional health and safety guidelines. Entry to the rides is subject to meeting all safety criteria on the day.
  21. Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification.
  22. Entries that are incomplete, altered, or tampered with, will not be valid and deemed void.
  23. Entries from agents, third parties, organised groups or entries automatically generated by computer or completed in bulk, will not be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with these terms and conditions.
  24. In the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to void, suspend or cancel the competition where it becomes necessary to do so, or amend or alter the terms of the promotion at any time, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect on participants to avoid undue disappointment.
  25. The Promoter's decision is final in relation to promotional matters and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
  26. These terms and conditions are governed by relevant UK law and you and we agree to only bring legal actions about these terms and conditions in a UK court. We will try to solve any disagreements quickly and efficiently.  If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disagreement you and we may agree to refer the matter to arbitration but you and we are not restricted from bringing court proceedings.
  27. Data Protection: Where you participate in a competition, your personal data shall be processed in accordance with our Privacy Statement available here https://www.chessington.com/legal/privacy-policy/. By submitting an entry, the participant acknowledges that the processing of his/her personal data is necessary for the Promoter to fulfil its obligations to the participant in respect of the promotion and to enable you to enter the competition, visit and use our Website and/or to claim any prize you may win. You confirm and warrant that all data provided by you for these purposes are accurate. If the participant exercises his/her right to object to the processing of such personal data prior to the end of the competition, his/her participation may be cancelled.

 

 

PAW PATROL LEAD GEN PROMOTION – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Terms and Conditions are dated from the time of first posting
Promotion start date – 29th April 2025

Win an overnight stay in a PAW Patrol Themed Room in Chessington World of Adventures Resort’s Safari Hotel for a family of 4, 1 day entry to the Theme Park in 2025 for up to a family of 4, a VIP Giraffe Feeding Experience, and 4 tickets to revisit Chessington World of Adventures Resort in 2026 when the PAW Patrol Land has opened.

1. This Promotion entitles you to the chance to win:

a. An overnight stay in a PAW Patrol Themed Room Chessington’s Safari Hotel for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children. For the purpose of a short break, a child is aged 15 or below).
b. 1 day entry to the Theme Park, Zoo & SEA LIFE Aquarium for a family of 4, to be used either the day before or after the overnight stay in 2025.
c. Early Ride Time on the date booked to enter the Theme Park as part of the Short Break. Allows for early entry to the Theme Park from 9am. Rides subject to availability. Rides available can be confirmed during your visit.
d. A VIP Giraffe Feeding Experience for up to 4 people.
e. 4 tickets to Chessington World of Adventures Resort to visit in 2026 when the PAW Patrol land is open.

2. The promotion is hosted on Chessington World of Adventures Resort's paid social media ads on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). To enter the promotion, entrants must complete the lead generation form linked to from the paid social.

3. Entry to the promotion is restricted to one entry per person.

4. Automated entries and multiple entries will be disqualified.

5. The prizes can only be used as stipulated and are non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternative will be offered.

6. The prizes do not include costs for any food or beverage, transportation, travelling expenses, excursions, personal expenses or insurance.

7. The prizes are not eligible for resale.

8. The prizes are not valid in conjunction with any other offer.

9. The overnight stay and VIP Giraffe Feed experience are valid for redemption until 2nd November 2025. Winners will be asked to supply 3 preferred dates of visit for the short break in preference order. The Theme Park tickets to visit in 2026 once the new PAW Patrol themed land has opened are valid for redemption until 1st November 2026.

10. Chessington World of Adventures Resort reserves the right to substitute the prizes for other prizes of equal value.

11. Chessington World of Adventures Resort reserves the right to disqualify from the promotion any entry it reasonably believes does not comply with these terms and conditions.

12. The winners of the prizes may be asked to participate in promotional activity on Chessington World of Adventures Resort’s social media channels. By entering this promotion, you agree to have your full name released as the winner.

13. Chessington World of Adventures Resort reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of this promotion at any time.

14. For avoidance of doubt, breakfast and car parking are included free of charge in an overnight stay when staying onsite at the Chessington Safari or Azteca Hotels.

15. This promotion is open to all residents of mainland UK, except Merlin Entertainments employees and their immediate families, and anyone else connected with the creation and administration of the promotion.

16. The prizes are subject to Chessington World of Adventures Resort’s terms and conditions, which can be found at https://www.chessington.com/legal/terms-conditions.

17. The prizes are also subject to Chessington World of Adventures Resort’s VIP Experience terms and conditions, which can be found at https://www.chessington.com/tickets-passes/vip-experiences/vip-animal-experiences/. Guests under the age of 16 taking part in the VIP Giraffe Feeding Experience must be accompanied by an adult aged 16+. The accompanying adult must also have a valid ticket for the VIP Giraffe Feeding Experience.

18. The prize draw is open to entries from eligible entrants aged 18 and over.

19. Entries open on 29 April 2025 at 10:00 GMT – entries received before this time will not be considered.

20. Entry deadline is 14 May 2025 at 23:59 GMT – entries received after this time will not be considered. Winners will be contacted via the contact email submitted in the lead generation form.

21. Chessington World of Adventures Resort's decision is final – no correspondence will be entered into.

22. The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize within 72 hours of receiving the first winner confirmation email, or the prize will go to another winner.

23. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta Platforms, Inc.

You may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in our emails or by contacting us directly.

25. Entrants’ personal data (first name, surname, and contact email) will be collected and stored by Chessington World of Adventures Resort solely for the purposes of administering the promotion, contacting the winner, and sending marketing communications if you have consented to receive them.

26. All personal data will be processed in accordance with Chessington World of Adventures Resort’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.chessington.com/legal/privacy-policy, which includes details of your rights under applicable data protection laws.
